KASI (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is a provider of marine surveying, inspection and consultancy services. We were founded in 1979 in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and have since expanded our network to include Kuala Lumpur and all major ports in Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan.

KASI specialises in hull and cargo loss / damage assessment and adjustment for underwriters, brokers and agents. We also carry out liability claims investigations for a number of P&I Clubs, United Kingdom.

Our inspection services includes product quality control, quantity determination and related technical services such as sampling and analysis of both local and international trade in agricultural, petroleum, and consumer products.

Over the last 10 years, KASI has also established itself in consultancy services, particularly in the areas of Marine Traffic and Risk Assessment; and the implementation of International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code.

Manager (Marine Inspection & Surveying)
(Kuala Lumpur)

Responsibilities:
As the Manager (Marine Inspection & Surveying) for our Kuala Lumpur Branch, your role will include the followings:-
* Responsible for the overall performance of our Kuala Lumpur branch;
* Develop medium and long term objectives and business plan for our Kuala Lumpur
branch;
* Market and solicit new business accounts;
* As a Liaison Officer for HQ and clients' principals in Peninsular Malaysia.

You are also required to display the followings:-
* Demonstrate a readiness and eagerness to participate in the company's economic
development and growth;
* Confident yet flexible enough to meet market demands while ensuring the company's
interests are being met.

Requirements:
You should be either:-
* A university graduate in Maritime Studies or Acturial Science or any management
discipline, with at least 3 years of working experience in the marine surveying and/or
marine loss adjusting industry;
OR
* A non-degree holder with at least 10 years of working experience in the marine
surveying and/or marine loss adjusting industry.

You should also possess the following attributes:-
* A matured person with excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills;
* Fluent in both English and Bahasa Malaysia;
* Self motivated, independent, decisive and result oriented;
* Able to think and act strategically and collaboratively;
* Is a Malaysian citizen or hold relevant Malaysian residency status.
